How long does this take?: The conversation takes a few minutes, and your song is ready a few minutes after you approve the lyrics.
What can I do with my created song?: You can listen to your song as many times as you wish, download it, and share it with whomever you choose. If you publish it to the music streaming services, that's your call, and you can pull it back down later, also your call. The full terms are included in our Terms of Use.
How is my song created?: The lyrics and the recording are generated with AI from what you tell us. Every song passes an automatic content check, and anything it flags is reviewed by a person on our team before it reaches you.
What counts as one of my five included versions?: Every version we make for you counts toward your five: your first round, another take of the same words, and each change after that (a new mood, a different style, a rewritten line). Most people find the one they love within a few rounds. Buying the song unlocks five more, and after those you can buy five more for $5.
How many songs can I make for free?: Your first 3 songs are free to make. Every song you buy unlocks 3 more. Writing is always free; a song counts once it has been made and until you buy it, including songs you move to the trash.
Do I have to release it?: No. Most songs are private keepsakes and stay that way. The release is there if hearing it on the music streaming services would mean something to the person it’s about.
